My assignment at RISE is to work as department manager for the Department of Biorefinery and Energy. As of October 2018, I am also co-opted to Luleå University of Technology in the subject Energy Technology.
I have more than 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary work and work in collaboration across subject and organizational boundaries with systems analysis and a holistic view as the core, most recently as director of f3 – Swedish Knowledge Center for Renewable Fuels. A large part of my professional life has in various ways been about obstacles, opportunities and forms of the collaboration within and between industry and other actors that is necessary (but so difficult!) for the transition to increased sustainability, mainly applied to the development of biorefineries, bioeconomy and renewable fuels.
My expertise and main research interest is about systems perspectives on the transformation of the process industry and the transport sector with a focus on renewable fuels, the pulp and paper industry, the chemical industry, biorefineries and the use of biomass.
